The AMST survey is designed for middle to top tier law firms that are local, regional, national or global in scope. Group members typically have from several hundred to several thousand attorneys and a comparable number of staff members that provide support in administering all aspects of the firm’s operations.
Designed for large law firms, this survey of administrative positions includes benchmark comparisons for 275 industry-specific and cross-industry jobs below the senior management level. Compensation data is arrayed by firm size with data samples for key metropolitan areas. Each firm size and metropolitan sample includes base salary, bonus, estimated total cash compensation, salary range and job scope data.
Now entering its 21st year, this survey currently includes key metropolitan areas in the US (Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco, Palo Alto & Los Angeles), as well as London, England, Paris, France, and Beijing, China. In 2019, the survey will expand to include key metropolitan areas in the South and Midwest US. In conjunction with Remington’s Executive & Senior Management (EXSM) Survey, the two surveys combined provide information on a full range of law firm administrative positions from entry-level nonexempt through the Chief Operating Officer.
